Faisal Majid graduated from Cardiff University in 2000 majoring in Psycholinguistics, studying disciplines including sociolinguistics, pragmatics, semiotics, discourse analysis, morphology and equivocation. He then completed his MSc in Information Systems from Brunel University in 2001. During his study, he had the blessing of traveling to Zaytuna College, California studying under luminaries including Shakyh Hamza Yusuf, Shakyh Muhammad Al-Yakoubi, Imam Zaid and Shakyh Abdallah al-Kadi  (May Allah protect them all).

Since 2005, he has been studying various Islamic sciences including Jurisprudence, Principles of Jurisprudence, Theology, Hadith, Exegesis of Quran and Inheritance Law under the hand of Sheikh Dr Ridhwan Saleem. In 2007, Sheikh Dr Ridhwan Saleem gave him a written certification to transmit prophetic Hadith.  Faisal studied Quran and Arabic with Sidi Zaheer Mahadik and continued with Sheikh Abdul Karim Morris in 2006 to 2007. In addition, he successfully completed a series of online courses with Sheikh Hamza Karmali via Sunnipath and then with scholars at Al-Qortaba institute, Egypt. He went on to study the noble language at the School of African and Oriental Studies (SOAS) University. In 2011 he received certification after covering the Muwatta of Imam Muhammad al-Shaybani from Sheikh Ahmed Alo Surati. Faisal is currently continuing his studies at the West London Institute of Islamic Studies under the tutelage of Shakyh Dr Ridhwan Saleem.

Over the years on several occasions he has had the blessing to travel to Jordan and privileged opportunity to sit with traditional scholars including Sheikh Salah Al-Kurdi, Sheikh Dr Ashraf Muneeb, Sheikh Nuh Keller and Sheikh Faraz Rabbani amongst others  (May Allah protect them and raise them in rank and station).

Faisal has over a 10-year commercial track record. He worked as a Business Development Manager for an aviation and space consultancy in London covering French, German, Swiss, and Scandinavian financial markets. His mercantile expertise and experience includes his former roles as UK Commercial Director for UNS Fine Crafts and UK Sales Director for Islamica Magazine. He is one of the founding trustees for the Lady Nafisa Secondary School and WLSIS and works part-time on a voluntary basis as the Marketing and Commercial Director.  

Faisal is married, resides in Sunbury Upon Thames with his wife and son and currently works as a Commercial Manager for an IT Multinational Consultancy.
